We are so tempted to buy into the lie that possessions provide security and power so that we can be safe, satisfied and rule our worlds. To put it another way, we buy the lie that more and better things will make us a somebody. But God will only bless your pursuit of financial stability if it is outpaced by your spiritual growth.
